NEYIF is a National Non-Governmental, Non for Profit, Humanitarian, Development and Peace Building/PCVE Organization that promotes an all-inclusive society for all. NEYIF was Established in 2013, with operational offices in Northeast and North West Nigeria, the Office Headquarters is in Damaturu, the Capital of Yobe State
NEYIF engaged in creating access and linking most vulnerable members of the community to humanitarian support and assistance. In the last couple of years, NEYIF had engaged in Profiling, Identification, Registration, Tracking, Supporting and provision of humanitarian Assistance to communities affected by conflict, at risk and host communities through Food Assistance, Livelihood, Agriculture, Education, Health and Nutrition, WASH, Shelter, Protection, GBV, CBT and others.
We at NEYIF work in most difficult and hard to reach communities just for the care, love, Welfare and promoting status of Youth, Women, Children, Girls, Orphans, Less Privilege, Disables, Minorities, Marginalized, IDPs, Refuges and Aged Groups.

We are recruiting to fill the position below
Job Title: State Coordinator
Openings: Four (4), (1 per state) Position
Location: Jigawa, Kebbi, Sokoto and Zamfara States
Employment Type: Contract
Duration: Nine Months (9)
Remuneration: The Payment is good

Reports To: Regional Coordinator/Consortium Manager

General Position Summary:
The State Coordinator is Responsible for Providing detailed updates to Regional Coordinator/Consortium manager and are likely to include but not be limited to those described below
Key responsibilities include:
✓ Provide detailed updates to project managers or other stakeholders
✓ State coordinator organizes and manages the various parts of a project to ensure its success..
✓ A state coordinator serves an essential role in effective project management
✓ Monitoring the daily progress of projects
✓ Ensuring team members have the supplies and resources they need to complete their assigned tasks on time and within their budget limits
✓ Organizing reports, invoices, contracts, and other financial files for easy access
✓ Planning meetings and organizing project logistics
✓ Performing billing and bookkeeping tasks
✓ Performing specialized tasks, managing a team of staff members and establishing relationships with vendors and freelance professionals.
✓ Delegate tasks to team members, Manage deadlines,
✓ Oversee delivery of projects, Organize third party providers & vendors”
✓ Communicating with employers about project, event expectations and goals
✓ Collaborating with clients or employers, finance teams and other team members on budgeting anda llocating funds
✓ Delegating tasks to appropriate team members
✓ Managing deadlines and progress across the team to ensure the project is delivered on time and on budget
✓ Organizing third-party providers and vendors to deliver elements that can’t be produced in-house
✓ Overseeing the delivery of projects and making adjustments as necessary to ensure they are delivered to specifications and high standards
✓ Collecting and analyzing feedback from Staff and other project users to gauge satisfaction and success.
✓ Maintain and promote a positive image of NEYIF and its activities by explaining what NEYIF is doing and why NEYIF operates in that way.
✓ Any other duties as may be assigned by the Line Manager,
•✓ Conduct duties in accordance with NEYIF’s programming and protection Standard
✓ Operating Procedures (SOPs);
✓ Conduct duties in strict adherence in accordance with NEYIF Code of Conduct and the principle of confidentiality
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Required
B.Sc or M.Sc, in Social or Management sciences or any relevant field.
• 3-5 Years experience coordinating or managing project
Basic Computer skills. (Operation and application areas)
• Must be socially perceptive to work with individuals who have difficulty expressing their needs.
• Knowledge of crisis-intervention methodologies.
Must be organized and practical
• Proven coordination skills to connect individuals/families with relevant services.
• Ability to compromise, negotiate, and work well with others.
To be successful in this role, you must have experience working under pressure, conflict Affected community and with a team and excellent analysis and reporting skills; with a high regard toward preserving confidentiality of work-related information and data.
