The Public and Private Development Centre PPDC is recruiting data collectors in all 36 states of Nigeria to support the Justice Sector Assessment, a nationwide initiative to strengthen accountability and promote access to justice.
The JSA will help assess and identify inefficiencies within Nigeria’s criminal justice system, focusing on pre-trial detention processes, legal and welfare service access, and coordination among justice actors, to provide actionable recommendations for enhancing system efficiency and building public confidence.
Location: 36 states + Abuja
We are seeking individuals with:
Relevant academic background (law, criminology, social sciences)
Experience in the justice sector or governance-related data collection
Proficiency in digital tools (ODK, KoboToolbox)
Strong communication skills & sensitivity to vulnerable groups
Commitment to ethics, confidentiality, and human rights
