We are looking for a seasoned Senior Operations Manager to drive operational efficiency and user growth across our markets. This is a role sitting at the intersection of operations, sales, and marketing, ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in dynamic environments. The ideal candidate will bring strong operational leadership, experience within multinational environments, and a solid understanding of marketing execution—preferably within retail or fintech sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimise day-to-day operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Drive user acquisition and growth strategies within assigned markets.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales and marketing teams to execute go-to-market initiatives.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational performance.
- Monitor KPIs and deliver regular performance reports to senior leadership.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum of 6–8 years of experience in operations, with exposure to sales and/or marketing.
- Experience in a multinational, retail, or fintech company is strongly preferred.
- Fluency in Hausa (spoken and written) is mandatory.
- Demonstrated track record of driving user growth and operational excellence.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Stable career history with consistent tenure at previous organisations.
Nice to Have
- Marketing experience or exposure to brand/field marketing operations.
- Basic proficiency in Photoshop or similar design tools for creating simple posters or flyers.
