MSH has recently been awarded funding by The Mastercard Foundation to implement the Program for Equitable Expansion of Community Health Workers in Nigeria (PEECH). The program is designed to address interconnected workforce and health system challenges by reskilling and upskilling 44,000 Community-Based Health Workers (CBHWs) across 17 states and the FCT by 2025. The program combines workforce development with institutional strengthening, local capacity strengthening. community-level engagement, and the application of digital tools to improve both on-the-job performance and the delivery of health services
Job Title: Data Entry Clerk
Location:Kaduna, Niger, Plateau, Katsina, Borno, Yobe and FCT
SUPERVISOR:M&E Manager
RESPONSIBILITY:
- Obtaining informed consent from all study participants prior to data collection in line with ethical requirements.
- Administering questionnaires and checklist accurately and consistently.
- Conducting qualitative data collection, including FGDs, using approved interview guides.
- Ensuring completeness and accuracy of all collected data through on-the-spot review of
- questionnaires and interview records. Maintain confidentiality and safeguard all participant information throughout the data collection
- process. Supporting data cleaning and validation by identifying and resolving inconsistencies in collected data.
- Submitting completed tools and field reports in a timely manner as required by the assessment protocol.
QUALIFICATION:
- At least 2 years’ experience in quantitative and qualitative research
- Proficient in basic statistical packages and Microsoft Excel
- First degree, good computer skills, familiarity with excel, Good inter-personal skills, initiative, flexibility and patience; a university degree will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure
SKILLS:
1. Experience in report writing
2. Ability to collate and aralyze data at the end of the exercise
3. Ability to use data collection/statistical packages: the ability to collect data, MS Excel, MS Word, ere. A certificate indicating proficient computer skills is an added advantage.
