Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital (NAUTH) is a federal tertiary health institution located in Nnewi, Anambra State, Nigeria.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the following positions in Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, {NAUTH}, Nnewi.

1. CONSULTANT SPECIAL GRADE I – CONMESS 5

• • Consultants
  • Obstetrics & Gynaecology
  • Surgery
  • Orthopaedics
  • Paediatrics

• Internal medicine
• Family medicine
• Community medicine/ Public Health
• Radiology
• Psychiatry
• ENT
• Pathology
• Anaesthesia
• Maxillofacial surgery

Requirements:

• • Candidate must possess Fellowship of National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria or Fellowship of West African Post-Graduate Medical College.

• Candidate should have current practicing license by the Medical & Dental Council of Nigeria
• Must have NYSC discharge certificate or exemption.
• Years of experience in the field is an added advantage.

2. MEDICAL/DENTAL OFFICERS – CONMESS 2

• • Resident Doctors
  • Obstetrics & Gynaecology
  • Surgery

• Orthopaedics
• Paediatrics
• Internal medicine
• Family medicine
• Community medicine/ Public Health
• Radiology
• Psychiatry
• ENT
• Pathology
• Anaesthesia

Requirements:

• • Evidence of graduation from any accredited Medical School (MBBS)

• Evidence of full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
• Evidence of Current practicing license
• Evidence of NYSC discharge certificate of exemption certificate.
• Years of experience in the field will be an added advantage

3. RESIDENT DOCTORS – CONMESS 2

Requirements:

• • Evidence of graduation from any accredited Medical School (MBBS)

• Evidence of full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
• Evidence of Current practicing license
• Evidence of NYSC discharge certificate of exemption certificate.
• Evidence of Primary Fellowship Examination by National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (NPMCN) or its equivalent.

4. SENIOR NURSING OFFICERS – CONHESS 9

 

Requirements

• A degree in Nursing Sciences (BNSc.) plus the registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
• Candidates must successfully undergo one-year Internship programme in an accredited Institution.
• Must show evidence of NYSC or exemption certificate.

5. PHARMACISTS – CONHESS 9

Requirements

• • Bachelor of Pharmacy degree (B. Pharm.)  Registrable with the Pharmaceutical Council of Nigeria).

• Candidates must successfully undergo one-year Internship programme in an accredited Institution.
• Must show evidence of NYSC or exemption certificate.

6. MEDICAL LABORATORY SCIENTISTS – CONHESS 9

Requirements:

• • A degree on Medical Laboratory Science registrable with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria.

• Candidates must successfully undergo one-year Internship programme in an accredited Institution.
• Must show evidence of NYSC or exemption certificate.

7. RADIOGRAPHERS – CONHESS 9

Requirements;

• • Bachelor’s degree in Radiography from a recognized University registrable with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria.
  • Candidates must successfully undergo one-year Internship programme in an accredited Institution.

• Must show evidence of NYSC or exemption certificate.

8. PHYSIOTHERAPISTS – CONHESS 9

Requirements:

• A degree in Physiotherapy registrable with the Pharmaceutical Council of Nigeria.
• Candidates must successfully undergo one-year Internship programme in an accredited Institution.
• Must show evidence of NYSC or exemption certificate.

10. OPTOMETRISTS – CONHESS 9

Requirements:

• Possession of Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree or equivalent qualification registrable with the Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians Board of Nigeria.
• Candidates must successfully undergo a one-year Internship programme in an accredited Institution.
• Must show evidence of NYSC or exemption certificate.

11. NURSE TUTORS – CONHESS 7

Requirements:

• A degree in Nursing Science in any recognized University and registration with Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).

 

12. NURSING OFFICERS II – CONHESS 7

Requirements:

• RN/RM registrable with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.

13. PROGRAMMER/SYSTEM ANALYSTS – CONHESS 7

Requirements:

• A degree in Computer Sciences or Information Technology (B. Sc./B. Tech) from a recognized University.
• NYSC discharge certificate or exemption certificate.

14. ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH OFFICERS II – CONHESS 7

Requirements:

• A degree in Environmental Health Science from a recognized University.
• NYSC discharge certificate or exemption certificate.

15. STAFF NURSES – CONHESS 6

Requirements:

• NRN or NRM or equivalent qualification who was duly registered with Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN)

16.  PHARMACY TECHNICIANS – CONHESS 6

Requirements:

• Registration with the Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology for Technician cadre having completed the prescribed three years training programme.

17.  BIOMEDICAL TECHNICIANS – CONHESS 6

Requirements:

• National Diploma (ND), Professional registration with a recognized Council/body (Medical Laboratory Council or equivalent.

18.  MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNICIANS – CONHESS 6

Requirements:

• Candidate must complete a three-year training programme in a School of Health Technology and obtained registration with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria for Technician Cadre.
